Parents in the house

Back again!  Please pardon me for missing the past week or so, seeing how my parents were in town!!!  That's right, over my spring break, Mom and Dad drove all the way from MD to see their little angel of a son and his angel of a wife.  An amazing time was had by all.  I'm pretty sure that mom and dad want a fenced in yard for Charlie now.  It is pretty convenient.  Didn't get to go to an auction, sorry mom and dad, but we did a ton of other stuff.  We went fishing, bought cowboy hats for mom and dad, went to the rodeo, went to show mom and dad the deer lease, got stuck in mud at the deer lease, caught a bass at the deer lease pond, went to a couple antique stores on the way back from the deer lease, they got to watch my baseball practice, ate crawfish and Bar-B-Q and dad ate a turkey leg!  We had so much fun and I miss them so much already.  Even though Charlie kept barking at Camden and poking him with his nose, I believe that they became good friends by the time the week was over.  It is kinda weird that Camdens uncle is 5 years younger but whatever...  I really hope my parents had fun because I know that we had a GREAT time having them here, in the lonestar state!

Yep, so like I said I'm trying to do this... I actually forgot that I was trying to do a blog for about three weeks. It's OK though, I'll make them matter when I do remember that I'm trying to do this.

So Carly and I began to furnish our downstairs about a year and a half after we moved in. It was Mattress Mack's birthday last weekend so we had to go and get a table and a buffet! Happy birthday MM. We give to you a lot of cash for a table and chairs for our dining room. Sounds to me like an even trade. It's actually REALLY nice. If I knew where my camera was, I'd post a picture of them. We have not eaten at said table yet because we like to eat on the couch and have our lovely beagle place his face about 3 inches from our plate. Eventually we will eat at the table I just know it.

I told myself that I wanted to take a picture of every fish that I caught this year. I made it to 5, then forgot, then was mad I forgot so I didn't care anymore. I eventually caught 8. I have been skunked the past 2 times that I have gone out so that's where my total stands. What's that you ask, what kind of fish have I caught this year? Check out my figure 1A below...

In other news, I am coaching a little league team and loving it. We "slightly" resemble the Bad News Bears but just being able to stand on a baseball field again and yell at children makes me feel good. We actually have a couple really good players too. We are the Rockies though which stinks. Awesome, my colors are black (it's 100 degrees in Houston) and purple (very manly). Ah, it's baseball. Gotta love it.
